Hired Jonathan to clean-up an old divorce that was not finalized. Original divorce was filed in 1985 in California and to my surprise was not finalized. Jonathan handled this case in a professional and timely manner even though original filing was almost 30 years old and the parties now lived outside of California. His legal knowledge and professional contacts were a great benefit in getting the divorce finalized with the original 1985 date – it also prevented an ex-wife from making my life unbearable. I was very happy with the outcome and professional handling of a sensitive situation.

Jonathan Chance does not disappoint. Whenever we have needed representation in family law, he delivers everything we ask for. Examples include a stay in the wage garnishment, lower support payments, and being able to claim the child, as a non-custodial parent, on taxes as a dependent. He follows up with writing the Findings and Order After Hearing (FOAH) quickly, succinctly and accurately.

He knows the law. He gets business done. He is decisive, authoritative, and gives me the proper perspective whenever my case gets too heated.

I’ve hired Jonathan Chance a few times the last couple years for multiple problems that I’ve had including: license suspension, traffic citations and a recent DUI. He is a fantastic traffic attorney, and I’m so glad that I found him. I’ve continued using his services due to the fact that he’s more than competent at his job.. I hired Jonathan Chance to defend me in a multiple infraction and misdemeanor fraud case that I thought was air-tight against me. In the end he bargained the DA to drop all the charges down to a single infraction with a modest fine.

The reduction in state fines alone nearly paid for Mr. Chance’s services, not to mention avoiding the misdemeanor on my record, avoiding any jail time, and avoiding all the hassle of me attending hearings or pretrial conferences.

I hope to never need a lawyer again, but if I do I’m giving Jonathan Chance a call!

Johnathan did an exemplary job of representing me in numerous hearings, as well as through the discovery process in my litigation. He proved to be thorough and accurate in all his paperwork, an attribute which I find rare in many attorneys. Most importantly however, his work ethic and knowledge resulted in victories in over 90 percent of the hearings (motions etc.) in which he was present.

I’ve had several cases that Jonathan Chance has represented me in – both as plaintiff and defendant. He’s always been very professional and tenacious. He can get under the opposing counsel’s skin, which I think is a very favorable attribute. I had one case that I transferred over to Jonathan after paying another attorney a lot of money and getting nowhere. After Jonathan took over we had a successful outcome.
